Alan was one of a kind. He made friends easily with people of all ages and all walks of life. He had a great sense of humour and pursued life with passion. He was a great story teller, a challenger of the status quo who was never afraid to stand up or step forward for causes he believes in. He was always a fun and loyal team mate. He cared deeply about his family and friends. He loved Creston and the Kootenays, and Mexico had a special place in his heart. He will be missed. RIP my friend.

Alan left his mark in our memories. A guy who didn't shy away from the spotlight and got the job done. May he rest in peace...
